TOTUS TUUS is a dynamic, parish-based summer catechetical program designed for children in grade school, with engaging components also offered for junior high and high school youth. The program’s mission is to help young people encounter Christ and grow in a deep, personal relationship with Him. 

TOTUS TUUS emphasizes a love for the Eucharist, devotion to Mary, solid catechetical instruction, vocational discernment, and—most importantly—a joyful and faith-filled experience for all participants.

2027 Theme:  The Virtues & Beatitudes with a special focus on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary

Each TOTUS TUUS team consists of four college-aged missionaries—two men and two women—who serve at a parish for one full week. They arrive on Saturday and depart the following Saturday.

Parish Responsibilities: The parish provides a parish coordinator, two host homes to house the team during their stay (one for the men and one for the women).  Parish also provides volunteers to bring in lunch and dinner for the team (continental breakfast is provided by the host home).  Other volunteer opportunities are; snacks and supervision of children during certain times throughout the day program (please see Parish packet for full details of the program requirements and logistics). 

Available Program Weeks for Summer 2027:

  • June 12–19
  • June 19–26
  • June 26–July 2 (4th of July week break begins on Friday night)
  • July 10–17
  • July 17–24
  • July 24–31

Note: The 4th of July Break for the missionaries will be Friday, July 2 after the daytime program ends until Saturday, July 10th. 


Junior/Senior High School Program (Evenings)

  • Dates: Sunday through Thursday
  • Time: 6:30 – 8:15 p.m.
  • Students are encouraged to join the TOTUS TUUS team for dinner before the evening session, typically at 6:00 p.m., depending on parish scheduling and availability.
  • This evening program is designed specifically for junior and senior high school students to deepen their faith in a fun, engaging environment.

Grade School Program (Daytime)

  • Dates: Monday through Friday
  • Time: 9 – 2:30 p.m.
  • This daytime program is for students entering grades 1–6, filled with prayer, catechesis, games, songs, and more!

Registration & PAYMENT:

The registration fee to bring a TOTUS TUUS team to your parish is $2,800.  This is for one team, serving a maximum number of 90 elementary age children.  If you foresee more than 90 participants, then you must request and pay for two teams or cut your parish registration off at 90 children.  

Full payment is due upon completion of registration. This fee includes: one trained Totus Tuus team of missionaries, mileage reimbursement, classroom materials/supplies and the use of the TOTUS TUUS brand and logo.

Credit Card Payment is required!  If your credit card has a daily limit or you have special circumstances, please contact us at 651-291-4489 to make other arrangements.

Cancellation Policy:  Fifty percent (50%) refundable prior to January 29, 2027. No refund(s) after February 1, 2027.  NO EXCEPTIONS

Parishes Outside of the Archdiocese: If you are a parish outside of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis there will be an added round trip mileage fee due upon completion of your parish week.  You will receive a separate invoice for this expense.

Registration will close on November 1st unless a week is still available, please register early!  

You will receive confirmation of your parish’s Totus Tuus week by December 1st.

Parish Information

Please select your top three schedule preferences:

Registration is complete when the online registration form and full payment is received by the Office of Discipleship & Youth.

We will do our very best to accommodate your first (or second) week choice. Please submit your top three preferences of these dates for your parish in order of #1, #2, #3 requested.

You will be notified of your week once all parishes are secure and the weeks are filled.  This will be communicated to you by December 31st but we strive to notify you early in December.

An orientation meeting will be held in early February for all parishes. An invitation with additional details will be forthcoming.
