Shannon Medical Center invites all Physicians, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, Nurses, and EMT’s and Paramedics seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in caring for and managing trauma patients to attend this free, one-day program.

Registration begins at 7:30 am
Event will run 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Continental breakfast and BBQ lunch will be provided

Registration is free and limited to the first 200 registrants.



Experts in the field of trauma care will provide this update. This will be an intensive, one-day program detailing accepted guidelines for the management of the trauma patient. Attendance will offer a forum for discussion related to care of the trauma patient.

Course Director is Dr. Bryan Hambric

Shannon Medical Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by New Mexico Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

This activity awards 7.25 contact hours for nurses.
