Secrets and Palaces of the Romanovs
Passport to the World with Professor Barry Goldsmith
Wednesday, April 21, 2021 | 6:15 PM

Come along with us to discover some of the world's greatest travel secrets. The most magnificent palaces in the world are not in England, France, or Italy. They are in one country and built by just one family. Join Professor Barry Goldsmith as he takes us on a very special tour: "Secrets and Palaces of the Romanovs." We will visit palaces that re-define the word, "spectacular."

We could visit France to see French Palaces, visit Italy to see Italian Palaces or we can see them both with Professor Goldsmith's next lecture in just one city, St. Petersburg, built by French and Italian architects. Seeing as Prof. Goldsmith is considered an expert on Romanov Palaces, even by the Romanovs, we will visit palaces that are off-limits.

So while museums are waiting for tours to resume, Prof. Goldsmith will open doors for us to unknown palaces, even off-limits to tourists, on the road to the world's most spectacular palace, Peterhof, just for Temple Emanu-El.

Every Romanov Palace tells a story, and like Downton Abbey, Romanov Palaces have intrigue, clandestine liaisons, and even the ultimate sin… murder.

Register no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 20th to receive the link for the webinar. The Zoom link for this event will be sent out the day before and as a reminder the day of the webinar.
