Slowing Down & Dropping In
A Daylong Mindful Movement Retreat with Jim Dalton
—
Saturday, July 11, 2026
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Held In-person at PIMC
Sometimes we say we can’t stop time, but what we really mean is that we can’t stop the clock. In reality, each moment of presence is timeless.
Join PIMC's Jim Dalton for a day of practice to give ourselves the opportunity to drop into each moment with the support of teachings and community. Through QiGong, seated meditation and discussion, we'll explore the Buddha's Four Domains of Mindfulness: standing, walking, seated and lying down. We'll learn to slow down into the present moment, regardless of which domain we inhabit.
Through practice, little by little, the mystique of our own thoughts and feelings begins to dissolve and dissipate. We break through into the clarity and luminosity of reality itself. We see things as they really are -- and all we see is Dharma, the domain of awakening.
Please bring a sack lunch and a snack to share with fellow yogis.
