Flowing Through the Five Aggregates

A Daylong QiGong Workshop

with Jim Dalton & The Daltones

Saturday, April 4, 2026
10:00 am – 4:00 pm

► HELD IN PERSON and ONLINE via Zoom ◀︎

Join resident teacher Jim Dalton with the Daltones (Karen and Doug O’Dell) for a full day of movement, silent meditation and reflection, with a focus on deepening our understanding of the “five clinging aggregates” (form, feeling tone, perception, mental formations and consciousness). Each hour we will introduce new movements and make time for group discussion.

The Buddha taught that we should train ourselves through developing and cultivating bare attention, inviting us to practice “within” the body. He encourages us to make the body our vehicle, our basis, stabilizing the body, exercising ourselves in it, and fully perfecting it. QiGong is a most useful tool in this type of training. Grounded in the gestures of QiGong, this daylong workshop will help us learn to look for “life” in the present moment movement of the body. Grounded in the flow of mindful movement, we discover the impermanence of the five aggregates, and ultimately the impermanence of our concept of a suffering “self.”

Bring a sack lunch and a snack to share with other participants. Please register by March 31, so we can arrange space to set up cameras to practice with online participants.
