2023 PCPC Faith & Race Tour

Do Justice, Love Kindness, and Walk Humbly
With God Pilgrimage
May 3-7, 2023

PCPC's Faith & Race Tour is an opportunity to explore the history of the Civil Rights Movement and to learn how people of faith worked for justice as they played out in Montgomery and Selma, Alabama.

We will explore these cities that were important sites of protest, engagement, and victory. We will visit the places where history unfolded and the museums and memorials were erected to commemorate that history.

Trip Highlights:
  • Travel by Deluxe Motorcoach from PCPC to Montgomery, AL.
  • Discover the Equal Justice Museum, the Southern Poverty Museum, Dexter Avenue Church and Parsonage, the Edmund Pettus Bridge, the Freedom Riders and Rosa Parks Museums, and more.
  • Experience distinctive Southern cuisine and learn about the cultural history of the various locations visited.
  • Explore these sites with fellow people of faith and within a biblical/theological context that notes the role of the faith community in both enforcing and transforming the racial policies and practices of America.
