2024-25 American Sign Language Classes with WPSD

Thank you for your interest in our American Sign Language Classes offered through the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf to the surrounding community. Not only do the classes promote signing skills, but they also provide a greater understanding of Deaf Culture through interaction with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.

Please register for a particular class below. The registration fee for each is $100.00. Courses are non-credit. Here is some helpful information:

• You will only be able to register one person at a time
• We offer both in person and online classes
• You will be able to make that selection (in-person or online) during the registration process
• Only 10 slots are available for each class

The instructor will monitor student achievement and progress, conducting periodic evaluations. If you are unsure of your placement, teachers will assist you on the first night of the class.
