Skyrocketing food prices have made it harder for families facing hunger to access enough to eat and have strained Tarrant Area Food Bank's ability to continue supporting our neighbors in need. We are facing a shortage in dollars to support our mobile distributions and 400 agency partners. The increased need for food is part of a new surge of people showing up to weekly food distributions, as demand increases month over month. Tarrant Area Food Bank is facing a sustained, unprecedented need of food and is now facing a crisis: fundraise in the community or begin to shut down critical mobile distributions that the community is desperately relying on this summer.
