The Max Ritvo, Alan Slifka and Desiree Dato Cancer Research Fund for Fusion-Protein Cancers and Metastasis
The Alan B. Slifka Foundation, a private family foundation, is dedicated to the pursuit of inclusion, diversity, peace and healing. In the spirit of refua shlema- the Jewish commitment to healing the sick - The Alan B. Slifka Foundation is also dedicated to eradicating cancers that have directly impacted the Slifka family.
The Alan B. Slifka Foundation has contributed a seed grant of $250,000, that, together with ICRF and the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation will leverage two new, 2-year $250,000 awards to collaborating teams of American and Israeli scientists. The Alan B. Slifka Foundation grant will be matched by grants of $125,00 each from the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation and from ICRF to create this new $500,000 fund.
