THANK YOU to our sponsors and the attendees of our virtual soil symposium for their generous donations which have helped to not only fund our symposium but kick-start our second project, the "Carbon Sequestration and Incentive Pilot Program" for Oregon farmers. We are partnering with Friends of Family Farmers to bring this new program to Oregon.

Cultivate Oregon plans to put our education into practice - in the immediate future! Our first steps toward encouraging the production of healthy soils are to recognize those who are already doing it! Then, we will assist farmers and land managers through incentives, to help defer some of the costs of entering the carbon marketplace. Cultivate Oregon wants land managers of all sizes to understand that it is worth their while to make changes toward regenerative agriculture!

Regenerative Agriculture Recognition Awards: In early Spring of 2021 we will select farmers, ranchers, and other meritorious land managers that have already adopted regenerative soil practices. Working/producing lands of any size will be eligible for this award to receive special financial compensation and recognition. This reflects our love and appreciation for adopting healthy soil practices thereby reducing pollution of the air and water, stabilizing soil to erosion, reducing the use of toxic chemicals, and sequestering Carbon.

Assistance and Incentives: In early 2021, Cultivate Oregon will provide educational events to encourage farmers and ranchers to enter the carbon marketplace. We are raising funds to provide financial assistance for those land managers who are eligible and can become verified to get paid for improving soil health. Cultivate Oregon will provide support to those qualified farmers and ranchers to adopt carbon sequestration programs.

Help fund our Carbon Sequestration and Incentive Pilot Program in Oregon by donating today. Thank you!
