Paying It Forward
Would you like to help increase the fund for the Frank Golf Scholarship, a scholarship established by our own classmate Andrew Ndoca and his wife Karen to recognize JCHS/JCA math teacher Mr. Golf's 40+ years of service to our educational community? Andrew started the fund, and close to 60% of the initial contribution has been matched by members and families of the Class of '79. The scholarship provides a 4‑year 50% tuition assistance for incoming JCA freshmen who test for excellence in mathematics, and qualify for financial aid. Since inception, four students have enjoyed the benefit of the scholarship. Currently, we have two recipients of the scholarship attending our alma mater. Your gift will help grow the fund so additional students can receive the same benefits of the Franciscan-Carmelite education that has served us so well for 40 years! While this scholarship fund has received many generous donations from the Class of '79 in the past, we're always looking to expand the opportunity for more students and grow the scholarship in Frank Golf's name. So let's offer continued support to our Class of '79's efforts!
