Over the Line   Rugby

Casa Colina’s Beat the Heat Sports Camp provides adaptive recreation and sports activities for people with disabilities. This unique camp gives first-time and returning participants the opportunity to build community through challenging sports and exhilarating outdoor activities, including outrigger canoeing, sailing, wheelchair tennis, basketball, rugby, deep sea fishing, and more.

Registration Fee: $100

Check-in: 8:00 a.m.
Departs: 9:00 a.m.
Returns: 2:00 p.m.

 

Learn how to fish in the deep blue sea! Our chartered boat sets sail for a 5-hour fishing expedition near Long Beach.

Wheelchair Sports Activities

Registration Fee: $35

Check-in: 7:30 a.m.
Morning Activities: 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon Activities: 12:30 p.m.
Closing Comments: 2:30 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to play adaptive basketball, pickle ball, tennis, Over the Line, and more!

Water Sports Activities

U.S. Sailing Center
5489 E. Ocean Blvd.
Long Beach

Registration Fee: $100

Check-in: 8:00 a.m. Morning Activities: 9:00 a.m. Lunch: 12:00 p.m. Afternoon Activities: 1:30 p.m. Closing Comments: 3:00 p.m.

Participants can enjoy a harbor cruise, adaptive outrigger canoeing, sailing, and gondola rides!

Wheelchair Sports Activities are primarily for participants over the age of 14 who use a wheelchair (or have a mobility impairment) and want to experience our event with other participants.
