Canasta Tuesday's - Fall 2025

Women of Emanu-El of Congregation Emanu-El of NYC are delighted to announce a new Canasta class starting up in October!

We are honored to have Sharon Steinberg, Certified Instructor of the Canasta League of America (CLA) as our instructor.

We will have lessons which will be a series of 5 two-hour lessons that will be held on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the following dates:

Tuesday, October 21
Tuesday, October 28
Tuesday, November 4, 11, and 18th.

The maximum number of players for a class is 8. We will wait-list the next set of lessons once the first session is full.

The cost for the series is $350 per player plus $30 each for the Canasta League of America (CLA) Instruction Book, which includes first-year membership to CLA.

The books to be given out on at the first lesson. After completing the 5 lessons, Sharon will be available for supervised play to help sharpen your newly learned skills.

We welcome all skill levels. Open to all Temple Emanu-El members and their spouses, partners, or canasta playing friends.

Non-members may attend if sponsored by a current Temple Emanu-El member.
