Expedition Balance: The price for the Expedition, less the $500.00 deposit, is due 60 days before departure unless otherwise stated.

Wait list: Once the Expedition is full, those applying will automatically be placed on a wait list. We will notify you if a space opens up. If your status does not change 60 days before departure, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 90 days before trip departure date will be refunded any payment less a $50.00 application fee. Cancellations made 90-61 days before departure will be refunded any payment less $500.00. Cancellations made 60 days or less before departure will receive no refund. We strongly encourage you to purchase Trip Insurance in case you need to cancel unexpectedly.

Trip Cancellation: Trekking for Kids reserves the right to cancel any trip in which case Trekking for Kids will provide a full refund. Exceptions to this would be if the trip is cancelled for reasons beyond our control such as a pandemic, natural disasters, terrorism, etc. In these cases your payments can be credited to a future trip.

Intellectual Property Release: You acknowledge that you will be required to complete an Intellectual Property Release whereby you authorize Trekking For Kids, Inc., inter alia, to prepare, use, and own photographs and video recordings of your participation in any expedition organized by Trekking For Kids, Inc.

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability: You acknowledge that you will be required to complete an Assumption of Risk and Liability Release Form whereby you agree, inter alia, that your volunteer participation in an expedition organized by Trekking For Kids is voluntary; that you knowingly assume all risks in connection with said expedition; and that you expressly forever release Trekking For Kids, Inc. from any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of whatsoever for any acts of active or passive negligence on the part of Trekking For Kids, Inc.
