Aquatic Park Stewards
I want to take advantage of the matching grant and double my donation by supporting the Aquatic Park Stewards. This award winning program educates youth dn motivates community to reduce marine plastic pollution, assess habitat for restoration and reach underserved youth teaching ocean and ecosystem health.
Saving Sharks from Overfishing and the Shark Fin Trade
Your generosity will enable us to work ending shark finning and the shark fin trade through education, legislation and stakeholder engagement.
Shark Watch/MPA Watch
This program helps us bring underserved youth to the San Francisco Bay learning about sharks and other Bay wildlife, science and actively cleaning our beaches while collecting data on wildlife and human behavior. Data collected by youth and Citizen Scientists in and outside our MPA provides long term monitoring for marine managers, and is an educational activity for tidepoolers, beachwalkers and divers.
For donations of $100 and more you can adopt and name a shark we have rescued, tagged and released in the new coral reef restoration and shark Sanctuary at Pom Pom Island in Semporna Malaysia.
