School Commission and Board Orientation (Virtual)
For Parish Schools and High School Commissions/Boards

7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

For the 2020-21 school year the Office of Catholic Schools will conduct a virtual orientation session for all elementary school and high school commissions/boards. Please register below. You will receive an email with your Zoom meeting link for the training on Wednesday, September 30. If you have any questions, please contact Rob Rash at rrash@archindy.org.

These are the intended audiences:

• Pastors and Priests of parishes with schools who are either new or who did not attend last fall
• Principals who did not attend last fall or who are new
• Presidents who did not attend last fall or who are new
• School Commission Members who did not attend last year or who are news (this orientation DOES NOT cover high school boards)
• (It might be helpful for business managers and other administrators to attend,  too!)

The purpose of this session is:

• To build common understandings of the great ministry that we share
• To outline the responsibilities and functions of effective commissions and boards
• Boards considering a change to the Commission structure
