As we build a new community it is important to remember and preserve the past. The preservation of the Ashlin-Moore Cemetery in Westhaven is an essential step in our long-term plan to anchor Westhaven to the early settlers and pioneers who once walked and worked the very land we now call home. But, we can’t do it without your help.

Leading historical preservationists and the Westhaven Foundation have teamed with 17-year old Westhaven resident, Nathan Hawkins. He is earning his Eagle Scout badge by raising funds for a period-sensitive fence to restore and protect this historical cemetery. Nathan managed the entire project and recently completed the installation of the period-appropriate fence. It looks great! Can you please help him earn this prestigious badge and preserve our history with a donation?

The goal is to raise $5,300 for the remaining balance of the materials cost. The Westhaven Foundation has pledged $1,000 leaving the last $4,300. Why donate to this project?
