Since its inception in 1923, the Rockford Memorial Auxiliary has been focused on fundraising, contributing over $8 million previously to Rockford Health System and now to Mercyhealth, in order to provide excellent patient care with a passion for making lives better. These funds are primarily raised through proceeds from our Boutique Merci Gift Shops, our Auxiliary Thrift Shop, and small fundraisers offered to our partners throughout the year.

Although we now have a new name, we continue to provide support for special programs, scholarships, medical equipment and so much more to Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital. As part of our commitment to our mission and in keeping with the vision of Mrs. Alma Fringer, our founder, we also actively provide service to our patients and families, as well as to the Rockford community.
