Description

Muse Upcycled Sculpture Workshop
Saturday, April 15
1-4pm

Teens will create mixed media art pieces, using recycled items, inspired by work in the Environmental Impact II exhibition.

Muse Endangered Species Art Workshop
Saturday, May 20
1-4pm

Muse teens will learn about endangered species and our impact on them. Then they will practice drawing them in some unexpected environments!

Muse Figure Drawing Camp
Monday, June 26- Friday, June 30
1-5pm Each Day Sold Out

This 5-day intensive camp is good for all experience levels. Teens will begin practicing the basics of figure drawing and advance to practicing more challenging skills like foreshortening.

Note: Models will be clothed.

Spring Volunteer Opportunities

Gallery Attendant
Slots Available March 4-June 17
Volunteer Time: After School until 5pm or Saturdays 10am- 4pm

Volunteers will be present in the gallery, stationed at a small desk. You will make sure visitors do not touch the art. When the gallery is empty you would be able to work on homework or other tasks.

Environmental Impact II Opening
Friday, March 3
Volunteer Time: 6pm-8pm

Volunteers will help keep Youth Art Month refreshment table filled and tidy, pick up garbage in cafe and galleries and clean-up after the opening.

Gifted and Talented Art Opening
Friday, April 14
Volunteer Time: 5:30-6:30pm

Volunteers will help keep refreshment table filled and tidy, pick up garbage in cafe and galleries and cleanup after the opening.

Muse teens with 5 volunteer hours for 2023 will be featured in the Muse Art Exhibition!
