After meeting with Jaime A. Pinkham, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, RISE St. James is elated with such victorious news. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) proceeded with an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which is to assess the plant's potential impact on the quality of life in St. James Parish, before finally revoking the Formosa Chemical Plant permit. Formosa is delayed and denied!!! Thank you so much for your support. We will keep you posted.
