Men’s Club Annual Meeting and Samuel Sacks Award Presentation

Our closing event of the season is the installation of officers and directors, as well as the annual presentation of the Samuel Sacks Achievement Award. This year’s recipient is Mr. John Sorkin for his meritorious service to Congregation Emanu-El. Join us on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 6:00 PM for a cocktail reception and ceremony with dinner to follow. Come celebrate with us.

Our guest speaker for this event is Dr. Gary Zola, the Executive Director of The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA) and Edward M. Ackerman Family Distinguished Professor of the American Jewish Experience & Reform Jewish History at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in Cincinnati.

The charge for the event is $50.00 for Men’s Club and Women’s Auxiliary members and $60.00 for all temple members and guests. RSVP by Friday, May 10.

A cocktail reception will start the evening; dinner will follow.
