Holy Week Family Missions West
Missions is an evangelization project that transforms the lives of missionaries, families, and the people whom we serve. It's an amazing experience were missionaries bring the message of Christ to the world during the most sacred weeks of our Catholic Church; Holy Week and Easter Week.
WHEN: Sunday, April 5th 2020 Palm Sunday Mass in your parish or at 11:00am in St Michael Catholic church. We will start our missionaries training at 1:30 pm in St Michaels School cafeteria. Friday, April 10th 2020 from 7:30am - 5:00pm Saturday, April 11th 2020 from 9:00 - 5:00pm

Missionary training 1:30pm
On Friday, April 10th, we will meet at St. John Paul II Catholic School at 7:30am. 1400 Parkway Plaza Dr. Houston, TX. 77077

WHO: Families are WELCOME! Children are allowed to serve in the mission. Please be aware that we will assign your family according to the age of your children. Some centers have age restrictions for volunteers and we have to follow their rules. NO BABYSITTING is provided, if you bring your children, you have to serve and be responsible for them.
TRANSPORTATION: Missionaries are expected to provide their own transportation. Carpooling is encouraged.

1:30pm Mission training, Cross Blessing and gathering at St. Michael.
07:30 Registration St. John Paul II Catholic Church 09:30 Registration finishes, missionaries are sent to the community
10:00 Project Begin
13:00 Continue on project. Washing of the feet
15:00 Prayer service. Station of the Cross
16:00 Project work
17:00 Mission finishes. Everyone is dismissed to their homes
09:00 Registration finishes, missionaries are sent to the community. Missionaries have to contact their group leader and be on time at your mission center.
10:00 Project begins
13:00 Continue working on project. Easter eggs
14:00 Drive back to John Paul II catholic school.
15:00 Live Rosary, Dinner and testimonies.
17:00 Mission ends
This includes a T-Shirt, a cross, a bandana, one bag and material for activities, both lunch and snacks for Friday and Saturday and dinner on Saturday.
Registration will close either on Sunday March 22th, 2020 or when we fill up our volunteer spaces. For logistic matters, we need you to register as soon as possible so you can have the best missions. So HURRY UP and sign up!
