Dear Participants,
WTI Programs are designed to provide the opportunity to support you on your spiritual journey, to strengthen your leadership skills, and help you build women’s communities that promote feminist values wherever you are. We consider each group and event as a spiritual opportunity, and we regard your participation as a mutual agreement to achieve these goals. Therefore, we pledge that WTI events will be alcohol- and drug-free environments where each woman can have the opportunity to gain spiritual knowledge and enjoy life-affirming experiences.
Above all, women in this sacred community–advisors, participants, volunteers, and priestesses–agree that we are guided by the Affirmation of Women’s Spirituality.
The WTI Advisory Council and Advisors agree to:
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for exploring spiritual topics
- Provide educational workshops, classes and other opportunities to fulfill your required activities
- Hold WTI advisory group weekends, in person or online, twice a year
- Start weekends on time and adhere to the agreed upon schedule
- Support your skills in leading workshops and discussions
- Offer you information about opportunities to meet in community with other women of a like mind
- Work with you individually to clarify your learning goals and identify self-directed projects & progress
- Help you create appropriate methods to document completion of your activities
- Respond to your questions and provide guidance in a timely manner
As a WTI Participant, I agree to:
- Attend WTI advisory group weekends twice a year
- Arrive on time and be present for the entire weekend (in person and online)
- Treat my advisors and other group members with respect
- Honor each woman’s knowledge and skills
- Come prepared to do the tasks I have agreed to do
- Seek help and advice about the program from my advisor
- Consult with my advisor on a regular basis
- Give my advisor honest feedback about my experiences
- Honor my contract and make payments in a timely manner
- Refrain from using alcohol or drugs before or during WTI weekends or rituals
