When everything in her life finally came to a stop, she found that she had to learn to be―with herself and with God―all over again. Pastor Juanita offers both practical and spiritual insights and life-giving spiritual practices to help you discover your own new ways of being.

BIO

Juanita Campbell Rasmus, is an author, speaker, and contemplative with a passion for coaching people to live their most expansive lives. She co-pastors the St. John’s United Methodist Church in Downtown Houston with her husband Rudy. Beginning with 9 existing members in 1992, thousands have joined the St. John’s family making it one of the most culturally diverse congregations in the city. Juanita travels speaking on spirituality and the transformational lessons she learned after a life-altering major depressive episode. After recovering from kidney cancer Juanita began a therapeutic art program facilitating the recovery and discovery of the creative self for unhoused and transitioning individuals. Juanita’s goal is to tap into the power of creativity and its ability to restore individuals to meaningful and productive lives. Juanita and Rudy have been married for 36 years and are the proud parents of two amazing daughters, Morgan and Ryan, a phenomenal Son-in-Law, Hamilton (Ryan), and the cutest grandbabies Jaden and Jolie.
