We are pleased to invite you once again to the Casa Colina Invitational Golf Tournament Supporting Padua Village. This year, our event features a special attraction—the second appearance of nationally known sportswriter, TV personality, and author Rick Reilly.
It has been more than a decade since Reilly appeared as one of Padua’s celebrity guests, and we happily welcome him back. He started as a sportswriter at the Denver Post, moved to the Los Angeles Times in 1983, and from there went on to Sports Illustrated and ESPN. At ESPN, he both wrote columns and made on-air appearances. Reilly was named “Sportswriter of the Year” 11 times by the National Sportscaster and Sportswriter Association, trailing only the great Jim Murray in that category. Reilly is the author of 16 books, the most recent of which is titled So Help Me Golf.
Bill Dwyre, former sports editor and sports columnist of the Los Angeles Times, will moderate the panel. John Landherr, CEO of A-Z Bus Sales of Colton and a longtime participant in the Padua event, will be the evening’s master of ceremonies. All proceeds from this special event help Casa Colina continue to provide the highest levels of care for the residents of Padua Village.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
11:00 a.m. - Registration & lunch
12:30 p.m. - Shotgun start
5:30 p.m. - Awards reception featuring food, cocktails, and a panel with acclaimed sportswriter Rick Reilly
7:00 p.m. - End of program
FORMAT OF PLAY
Four-player Shamble with the two lowest scores of the four on each hole scored for a team score. Awards to the lowest gross score and three lowest net scores.
OPPORTUNITY DRAWING FOR PEBBLE BEACH
Each golfer will receive five complimentary Opportunity Drawing tickets at registration! We will hold Opportunity Drawings during the awards reception for a 2-Night Pebble Beach Golf Getaway for two with Ocean view room and rounds of golf at Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill courses.
Tickets can be purchased at the golf tournament ($100 for 5 tickets) or by contacting the Casa Colina Foundation at 909-596-7733 ext. 2237. Drawing will be held on April 24, 2023.
