 Wednesday Morning – Supervised Play

Fall session starts Sept. 23, 2026

10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Play bridge under Peter Steinberg’s supervision. Come with or without a partner. Everyone plays. Two hours of dealing out hands and then playing them. Questions answered on both bidding and play. All materials will be provided. Intermediate players of all levels are invited to attend.

Wednesday morning Supervised Class dates are:

September 23rd and 30th

October 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

November 4th and 11th.

Thursday Mornings - Intermediate Lessons/Play

 Fall session starts Sept. 24, 2026

10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Stop memorizing! Logical thinking provides solutions. Peter Steinberg, the only teacher recommended by multiple World Champions, will help you raise the level of your game. Fall subjects include Defensive signals; The Art of Ducking; The Right Time to Lose Tricks; Two-over-One Bidding reviews; Communication; Opening Lead problems; and much more. All materials will be provided, including pre-typed notes.

Thursday Intermediate Class dates are:

September 24th

October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

November 5th and 12th.

Open to all Temple Emanu-El members and their spouses, partners, or Bridge-playing friends. Non-Temple members may register if sponsored by a Temple Emanu-El member.

Location: Temple Emanu-El - 1 East 65th St., NYC.

Materials: All materials, including pre-typed notes, will be provided.

Cost: $300 per person; per session (for the full 8-weeks)

Advanced registration is required.
