Support the evangelization of the young adult community in the greater Philadelphia area at our upcoming Young Adult Conference: The Well, hosted by the Office for Ministry with Young Adults (OMYA)! Scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Philadelphia and the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul.
Each year, on the Solemnity of Christ the King of the Universe, Pope Francis calls the Church around the whole world to celebrate youth and young adults. In response, our Office for Ministry with Young Adults (OMYA) is hosting a conference centered around the theme of Hope in the healing power of Christ.
The participants of this event will have the opportunity to gather in fellowship, listen to three powerful keynote speakers, and most of all experience an encounter with the Lord, just like the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:4-42), through Eucharistic Adoration, Confessions, and a Solemn Vigil Mass with Archbishop Perez. The keynotes for this conference, Lillian Fallon (the author of Ascension Press “Theology of Style”), Peter Blute (Executive Director of Young Catholic Professionals), and Brock Martin (VP of FOCUS for Parish Outreach), will guide young adults how to encounter, nourish, and share this Hope with others!
We are extremely grateful for your consideration of supporting our efforts to bring more young adults into the arms of Christ!
