The Husky Hutch Food Pantry, located inside Clara Barton Elementary School, exists for one simple reason, to make sure no child in our community goes hungry. By providing food directly at school, the pantry offers a safe, easily accessible place for students and their families to get the support they need.

Beyond food, the Husky Hutch also helps elementary students across the District with essentials like hygiene items, shoes, clothing, and warm winter gear. This program was created to lift up families who may just need a little extra help to get through a challenging week or month.

On average, every $33 donated provides around 20 pounds of food and helps support critical-needs items, putting real, tangible support directly into the hands of children and families.
