About classes: Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:00PM, 9-week session. ASL classes are designed to enable hearing adults to converse with most Deaf people in the community. Classes are geared to the adult learner. Classes are held at St. Rita School. No high school credit, college credit or continuing education units will be given for class.

Class levels: Beginner 1, 2, 3, Intermediate 1, 2, 3. Minimum class size is 10; class levels may be combined. Students are required to pass a skill evaluation before passing to the next level.

Our instructors are teachers of the Deaf, interpreters, or use sign as their daily mode of communication. Instructors are involved in continuing education to constantly upgrade their teaching skills.

Fees: Credit card payment

Late fee                         $5 after deadline. $10 day of / walk-ins

*** Family members (immediate family/same residence) of full-time St. Rita students and staff pay discounted fees for class.

Weather related cancellations:  announced on radio/TV stations. If school is closed, sign class will also be cancelled.
