MVNU COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL

SUMMER YOUTH BAND REGISTRATION 2026

The MVNU Community School is pleased to sponsor a Summer Youth Band program. Youth Band is intended for students who have completed the beginning year of band through 8^th grade. The program will meet at Mount Vernon Middle School on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30-8:00pm, beginning Tuesday, June 16. The program will culminate with a final concert at 6:30 on Thursday, June 25 in the Mount Vernon High School Theater.

The fee to participate is $80. All participants receive a youth band t-shirt. Rehearsals each week will include fundamentals, sectionals, and full band practice. Directors for the program are John Packard, Sarah Jancura, and Heather Faulkner.
