In March 2014, ODU Monarch Physical Therapy (MPT) opened on the Norfolk campus of Old Dominion University (ODU) to provide high quality rehabilitation services, educate students, and advance clinical research. The physical therapy clinic has grown steadily and now also offers occupational and speech therapy services for infants, children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of neurologic conditions. Hi-Tech services include robotics, body weight support and balance systems, virtual reality, telehealth, augmentative and alternative communication assessments, trials, and treatments.
In 2023, we will expand our services and move into the new Health Sciences building on Monarch Way. Thanks to a generous gift from Andrew Wallach and Cynthia Faschini, ODU Monarch Physical Therapy will transition into the Faschini Wallach Center for Restorative Therapies.
