Why Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is often the missing ingredient of effective leadership—and you may not even realize it. Learning what EQ is and how to self-leverage it empowers you to understand and manage your own emotions, while also recognizing and influencing the emotions of others. In a church setting, where compassion, empathy, and teamwork are crucial, developing your own EQ can transform your leadership approach and help you create a more vibrant, engaged, and resilient ministry team.

What “Emotional Intelligence” is, how to self-recognize the route your own emotions move through your brain and then play out through your words and actions.

Social Awareness and Relationship Management: Develop EQ skills to manage conflicts constructively and foster a culture of open communication and trust.
