► HELD IN PERSON and ONLINE via Zoom ◀︎
Drawing from the Buddha’s teaching on dependent origination (the 12 links), we’ll explore how suffering is not a personal failure, but a conditioned process. And how perception leads to emotion, emotion to reaction, and reaction to deeply wired patterns. Rather than using this insight to judge ourselves, we’ll practice meeting these patterns with care through the Brahmavihāras: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. In this way, insight becomes not a weapon against ourselves, but a doorway to care, forgiveness, and connection.
This retreat will include:
-
Guided mindfulness and heart-based meditation
-
Short dharma teachings on compassion, insight, and liberation
-
Optional gentle movement and embodied practices to support presence and nervous-system regulation
-
Relational reflection and community connection
-
Time for silence, inquiry, and integration
All are welcome. No prior meditation experience is required. Come as you are.
