THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR STUDENTS 3 years old (as of 8/31/2025) through 5th-grade RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, and an OPTION FOR 6th-grade Home Based catechesis (HBC).

We are so happy you are interested in registering your child(ren) in Religious Education for 2025-2026 Catechetical year.

This registration is for children 3 years old as of 8/31/2025 (potty trained) through 5th grade, with an option of 6th grade Home Based Cathesis (HBC). If you need to register a child(ren) entering 7th grade or above in 2025-26, please STOP and go to the Youth Department website at ctryouth.com

Sixth grade IN PERSON catechesis is now offerred through our Youth Ministry RISE Program on Wednesday nights. To register for RISE please go to https://ctryouth.com

Registration for SACRAMENT PREPARATION is a SEPARATE PROCESS from Religious Education. Please visit our website or contact Linda Watso at linda.watso@ctrcc.com or 281-469-5533 for more information and how to register for the sacraments.

The parish underwrites the cost of Religious Education and we ask families to contribute a portion of the total cost of educating a child. This fee helps pay for books, supplies, materials, etc. However, we do not want cost to be a barrier for any family to register a child. Audio/Visual Recording and Photography Consent:
Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church occasionally uses video or audio recordings and photographs of children, youth and families during church and diocesan-sponsored activities. These are utilized in newsletters, on websites, in event promotion, on advertisements, in social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and other print and digital media to display the many wonderful parishioners at CtR to the community. As the State of Texas does not prevent audio or video recording or the photographing of children/youth (with the exception of Senate Bill 1, Section 26.009, which deals specifically with school districts), it does encourage parental consent. Additionally, current video recordings and photographs assist law enforcement agencies in dealing with the Missing Children’s Program.

I release the staff and volunteers of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston from any liability connected with the use of my child’s picture or audio/video recording as part of any of the above or similar activities.
