Mission of Friendship, centered in Christ, provides opportunities for the people of the Archdiocese of Yucatan and people of the Diocese of Erie and the broader United States to grow in faith and love through friendship and service while sharing their gifts, talents and cultures with each other with the hope of alleviating poverty and bringing about justice. This includes medical dispensary services for people of low income neighborhoods in Mérida and the Nueva Vida After School Enrichment Program for elementary school age girls receiving supervision, meals, academic tutoring and enrichment classes on weekday afternoons in a loving environment.
