Step Into the Heart of Recovery Ministry
Join us for a powerful three-day Innovation Pilgrimage designed for those eager to start or grow faith-based recovery ministries in their church or community. Hosted by the Innovation Center in partnership on site with Mosaic Church, this immersive experience invites you to witness, learn from, and design your own recovery-focused outreach.
As Rev. Dr. Rosario Picardo, Mosaic’s lead pastor, says, “Recovery is a journey for anyone seeking healing and wholeness—and it can become a way of life for an entire congregation.”
When you arrive, you’ll receive a copy of his new bestselling book, A Fighting Chance in 40 Days, to help guide and inspire your next steps.
What You’ll Experience
Over the course of three days, you’ll:
- Attend two different live recovery worship gatherings, each rooted in a unique model of ministry.
- “Fighting Chance Recovery” operates as an integrated church ministry focused on worship and holistic transformation.
- “Thursday Night Live Recovery” held at the local Emerge Trades Center, reaches people in the midst of real-life challenges with spiritual care and practical support.
- Observe how recovery ministry works in action—from worship and support groups to volunteer leadership and community rhythms.
- Hear personal stories of transformation from individuals whose lives have been changed by faith and recovery.
- Learn from experienced leaders and volunteers how to build partnerships, recruit your team, structure a ministry, and begin with clarity and momentum.
- Enjoy simple meals and meaningful fellowship together that foster connection, collaboration, and inspiration.
From Inspiration to Implementation
The Innovation Pilgrimage journey concludes with guided, interactive sessions to help you bring recovery ministry to life in your own context. Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. “Roz” Picardo, you’ll engage in:
- Learning, training, plus a reflective recap of your experiences, highlighting transferable models and key principles
- Guided journaling, prayer, and table discussions to help you discern your vision
- Collaborative brainstorming to shape your unique ministry approach
- A time of crafting your own “Up and Out” breakthrough prayer, asking God to move powerfully in your setting
- A shared commitment to 28 days of Dynamite Prayer, with support through a private Facebook group
- A commissioning prayer to bless and send you forward with renewed purpose and direction
You’ll leave not only inspired—but equipped with a plan, resources, and the spiritual fuel to begin.
