APPLICATION FOR STUDENTS NOT ELIGIBLE TO FILE A FAFSA

Application Dates: February 19 through March 8, 2021

This application is for currently enrolled students who are not eligible to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. In order to be eligible for COVID-19 funds, you must meet the eligibility requirements below. If you are eligible, Dominican University will disburse funds through this application process. Please note that funds are limited and will be granted based on number of received applications. An email confirmation will be sent to you once the application has been successfully submitted.

Eligibility for COVID-19 Funds

In order to be eligible for COVID funds, you must meet the following requirements:

You were not eligible to file a FAFSA form
You must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program
You had specific, related expenses due to COVID. These specific expenses can include tuition and fees, food, housing, technology, course materials, health care and child care.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Applications for COVID funds will be reviewed after the deadline date (March 8, 2021). Your eligibility for funds will be verified. If your application is approved, you will receive an email of your approval and the amount on or before March 22, 2021. Funds will be disbursed to your tuition account on or before March 26, 2021. If after disbursement your tuition account has a credit balance, we will issue you a refund.
