A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Puerto Rico on Tuesday, Jan. 7, killing one person and causing widespread blackouts. The quake was followed by at least 35 aftershocks. Thousands of people have been displaced and don’t have access to water while nearly one million have been left without power. There is a widespread threat of landslides and collapsing structures.
The situation is unfolding and our charity partners are responding with supplies and other support. Please donate to Global Impact’s Puerto Rico Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund to provide much-needed funding for these relief efforts.
