Our Annual Mothers' Day of Reflection will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Immaculata Center (1408 Carmel Drive, Lafayette 70501). The day will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM. The cost for the day is $25.00, which includes your lunch and materials for the day. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Deshotel and our guest speaker will be Kitty Cleveland.
Kitty Cleveland’s primary mission as a daughter of God is to faithfully provide for the care and feeding of her husband, Mel, and her daughter, Cecilia. They are her life and joy!
Second to that is her mission as a lay Catholic evangelist.
If she had to boil down the essence of what she feels called to do, it is to encourage people—whether through music, storytelling, or teaching from the great Catholic spiritual writers and her own life experience. Her heart burns with a desire to share the riches of our Catholic faith, especially to lapsed or lukewarm Catholics. She submits herself to the teaching authority of the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church in matters of faith and morals, and she delights in her guidance.
