Emotionally Intelligent Teamwork:  Navigating Anxious Times

Rev. John McGill

Emotional Intelligence Leadership Trainer/Coach

 FOUR Thursday sessions online:

October 20, 27, November 3, 10, 2022 - 10:30am to 12pm ET

Discover how to manage reactivity and lead through your own—and your congregation’s —deepest fears. Ideal for you and your team!

What is “EQ”?  It’s Emotional Intelligence.

Just learning ministry strategies and tactics won’t lead to success without an emotionally healthy leader and team.

The quality of our lives is equal to the quality of our relationships.  Our relationships, our leadership, our teamwork (and our congregations) are dependent upon our collective emotional health and vitality.

These crucial, game-changing four sessions will provide the “basics” of EQ, plus eye-opening user-friendly tools for self-awareness and self-management. You and your team will find yourselves better able to maintain ease during conflict and anxiety situations. You’ll add creativity, adaptability, resiliency and peace to your daily ministry. You’ll learn how to uncover the “hidden agenda” of the emotions and fears truly driving your church. Best of all, emotional intelligence can enable you and your team to lead past your greatest obstacles.

The four sessions will include:
1. Five facts that every leader should know about EQ.  (And 3 myths)
2. How the brain makes decisions and why that should change your ministry.
3. EQ during anxious times: how to lower reactivity.
4. Charting a course for growth: simple practices to develop deeper EQ.
