Nearly half of the reefs in SE Asia are damaged by Fish Bombers who use explosives to increase their yield. This kills the next generation of fish and nearby marine life. Stop Fish Bombing (SFB) USA with SFB Malaysia uses acoustic detection systems in Sabah Malaysian Borneo to alert law enforcement to underwater blast locations in real time to protect tropical coastal and marine natural resources, the ecosystems they provide and the welfare of coastal communities.  

The sparse infrastructure and remote locales where fish bombing occurs provides special challenges for power, communications, and security of equipment. Your donation will help us develop measures to overcome these obstacles and expand our efforts to stop fish bombing in the Coral Triangle.
