Thank you for submitting a nomination for the 2023 Best Development Awards. Your entry will be reviewed by a panel of expert judges. Winners will be announced in early January and an awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Iowa State Capitol Building in Des Moines.

The Best Development Awards recognize projects that showcase sustainable development projects and practices in Iowa that best reflect the principles of smart growth, sustainability, and uphold the mission of 1000 Friends of Iowa.
